About the Program
1st-8th graders sharpen their skills during the critical summer months by participating in a three-week program of reading drills, math games, and language arts activities.
Summer Camp
How It Works
- Sandy Springs Mission buses pick up students from their homes.
- Children are grouped by grade and paired with teachers and volunteers.
- Teachers and volunteers assist students with academic activities/curriculum chosen by our teachers for that given summer.
- Teachers and volunteers lead fun and enriching learning activities once the target work is completed.
- In the afternoon, students enjoy some fun activities either outside the facility or indoors.
- The Sandy Springs Mission bus returns ALL students to their homes at the end of the day.
